Problem Description:
ITCarlow and Carlow College are offline.

Problem Effects:
Connectivity lost to both institutions.

Problem History:
20100306 17:49 BMA Suspected power outage. ITC have construction work on
campus at present, but this was not expected to affect Comms room.

20100307 16:57 BMA Power to comms room is still offline at ITC, next
update will come tomorrow morning.

20100308 09:16 EW Manule of BT-MNC (01-4326555) called for an update on
Circuit HEAN108259 (1GigE from City West to CarlowIT), he stated that the
alarm has cleared on the BT side and wants confirmation that is OK on on
side. I responded that we will check this and get back to him soon.

20100308 09:45 EW Contacted John Hegerty of ITC, he stated that an
unscheduled campus wide power outage occurred, resulting in their
generator
failing. He believes that the problem has been resolved now that power has
been restored.

20100308 09:57 EW Contacted David Murphy of Carlow College to let hime
know that power has been restored and no further outages are expected. We
will continue to monitor for the next 24 hours.

20100309 16:01 EW Closing ticket, after monitoring for the last 24 hours
with no further outage, since power was restored to the campus yesterday.
