Problem Description:
Failed to re-establish connectivity after IOS upgrade reload of RIA
router.


Problem Effects:
Loss of connectivity to RIA

Problem History:
20100306 09:34 GL Opening ticket. Phoned RIA but not successful in
contacting anyone.

20100307 12:19 GL  RIA contacted HEAnet via pageboy at 11:21. Asked them
to reload CPE router. Did not solve problem. Scheduled to go to RIA at
08:30 tomorrow moning. Will continue to investigate.

20100308 12:30 GL Out on site at 08:30. Router had booted into ROMMON
mode. Loaded fresh IOS onto flash card. Rebooted into ROMMON mode again.
Changed flash card twice. Rebooted into ROMMON mode. All suggestions point
to the router itself. Waiting on replacement from suppliers.

20100308 13:52 BN Temporary replacement router has been put in place and
connectivity has been restored.  This will be monitored.  Replacement of
possibly faulty router and swap back will be handled by a separate ticket.

20100309 08:49 GL RMA for router organised. Awaiting replacement

20100311 09:43 GL Replacement has arrived. A scheduled downtime will be
devised in the near future to replace RIA's temporary router. This will be
stated in a separate ticket. Closing this ticket.
