Problem Description:
HEAnet phone system is down.
We are investigating the problem.

Problem History:

20100226 14:29 GAR The phone system provider has informed us that there is
a general fault in the area, affecting multiple customers.

To contact the NOC, please use noc@heanet.ie or the mobile number 087 -
259 0161.

We expect a status update by 15:00.

20100226 14:47 RC The phone system seems back to work

20100226 14:50 GAR Phone system restored. Service provider confirmed that
the fault was due to a configuration issue that affected a number of
customers and number ranges.

Full service is restored and the HEAnet NOC can be contacted through the
usual means at noc@heanet.ie and 01-6609040.
