Problem Description:
ESB TOC have been informed that ESBT Construction/Maintenance require a 2
hour outage on the NTFON Fibre cable between Sligo POP and Cathleen
Falls/Letterkenny POP on Saturday the 20th of March at 07:00 hours.

Problem Effects:
Expected loss of resilience for Sligo and Letterkenny: Sligo IT, St.
Angela's College, and Letterkenny IT / Killybegs

Problem History:
20100226 11:43 RC open ticket

20100320 10:03 COC Contacted ESBT to inform them that we still see this
circuit as down.

20100320 10:20 COC ESBT informed us that they have finished splicing the
circuit and service should be resumed. Contacted NSN to check the Adva
equipment

20100320 11:16 COC NSN ticket is NA04680707. ESBT are disconnecting the
Fibre from 11:20 - 11:35 to run a spectrum test on it.

20100320 13:49 COC ESBT and NSN are sending engineers to Letterkenny. NSN
will be on site at 18:00

20100320 14:09 COC Service restores at 13:46. Contacted NSN and ESBT

20100322 12:16 COC This has achieved by leaving the lasers powered on in
Sligo.
